Nourishing mango smoothie
In an article about “How to eat less and cook in the summer,” a nutritionist advised: if you lose your appetite in the heat – make a smoothie. This way you will support your body and reduce the risk of overeating in the evening. A nutritious smoothie with mango, banana, and cereals may even replace breakfast or lunch on hot days! Watch our video recipe.
Rice milk can be replaced with coconut milk, soy milk, or any other plant-based drink to taste or even water. The recipe includes red currants – use combinations from this recipe as a base to enjoy this seasonal berry.

As a nutritionist advises, it’s a good idea to make sure to eat seasonal foods in the middle of the summer. Berries, fruits, vegetables, herbs – if you can buy them fresh, give them preference over processed foods and even more so over sweets.

Step by step recipe
Step 1/3.

Step 3/3.

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1/3.
Prepare the fruits and berries. Rinse them with water, peel the orange and cut into large pieces, remove the sepals from the strawberries.
Step 2/3.
Fillet the mangoes. Cut off the pulp along the flat side of the bone on both sides. Then there are two ways to separate the pulp: the simplest is to scoop it out with a spoon, the most elegant – holding the half with the pulp up, with a small knife slit it along and across in the form of a grid, not touching the skin, then turn the half out and cut the resulting cubes of pulp.
Step 3/3
In the bowl of a blender, place the mango pulp and the rest of the ingredients and blend for 2-3 minutes. Add more water if needed. The smoothie is ready!
